ASSIETTA PASS

At the daybreak of July 19th, 1747, the Piemonte kingdom infantry assaulted the Hispanic-French fortified lines situated on top of Assietta pass: heavvy losses dont hinder the "montagnards", used to move on steep mountains, to reach the pass. The year after Aquisgrana treaty of peace will definetly decree the existence of Piemonte state under the Savoia kings.
