Infos about the front suspension

Older models of the Africa Twin (up to RD07) have valves at the front forks. These allow you to add air to the fork tubes, which gives you a harder suspension. Honda recommends a maximum of 0.4 bar in the forks, *but* according to many dealers and experts it is the best to add *no* air in the forks, because this will avoid an accelerated destruction of the forks' seals.
The optimum setting is, if the bike stands upright without any load and you press the valves to equalize the internal and external pressure.

If you think that your front suspension is too weak, the best solution is to mount alternative springs. An overview on available second party products may be found in the accessory database.
